So, watched INSDE THE MIND OF A CAT on Netflix. Pretty interesting stuff. And then Dr. Eva Maria Giegl comes on with some cool facts about cat migration. But as she speaks, her body language changes when she gets to the Middle Ages. You can actually see her demeanor change as she waxes on the wise women of the middle ages — witches. She then takes on an indignant (femsplaining?) posture as she talks about the church “… dominated by males… ” and how it demonized the witches, resulting in the destruction of cats that eventually leads to the plague. While there may be some factual things in what she says, the attitude she has turned me off completely.
