On a slight off-topic, I wonder how religious studies female teachers (especially those really committed and religious ones) would react if a student pulled out this quote.
They'd probably lose their shit and go on a rant about no respect etc disregarding an actual quote. Oh well.

Doublethink comes naturally to them. No point speculating about how the contradictory logic would affect them, because they don't have any. If they feel that the Bible is the Word of God and 100% irrefutable truth, and they also feel that some quotations from the Bible were written by unenlightened misogynists and can therefore be discarded, then both of these statements are true and no conflict between them is possible.
It's worth pointing out that this cognitive dissonance does not only affect women. Very few people can believe in the first statement without in some way being guilty of the same thing. Those that can, while I respect their commitment, I probably wouldn't want to go for a drink with.

And that is why they are writing "feminist bible", to discard inconvenient stuff.

All religious stuides teachers, and preists as well, just ignore this rule. Some churches even allow homosexuals and women to be preachers. Then they wonder why people don't go to church anymore.

Actual verse:
But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.
1 Timothy 2:12 (KJV)

The Bible also says that a wife must submit to her husband (yes, in that way). Never hear that one taught.

I’m from the south. Grew up hearing that verse at least once a month from the pastor. Always mentioned that despite what women think, this is something from the Lord. Good man

But I suffer not a woman
MGTOW 1:12
Now we just need a messiah, we probably already have more wise men than we need

Most people calling themselfs christians are not real christians anymore. Specialy women. They just pick and choose whatever they like from the bible. Most are like- ýahoooo can do whatever i like, because i will be forgiven anyway! I know women in the occult who live better christian lives than most christian women. They even know the bible better than most christians.

Absolutely agree, does the Bible allow adultry? No, yet so called Christians do it anyway. Does the Bible allow getting drunk? No, yet so called Christians do it anyway. Does the Bible allow Christians to wear the opposite genders clothes? No, yet so called Christians do it anyway. So the fact is, that most Christians have absolutely no clue about anything that is written in the Bible, they are just Christians in name alone.

These so called christian women screw around like crazy in college and want to become tradwives later. There is nothing christian or traditional about these women. They are just whores in hiding. Just look around inside a random church. All single women around 30 in church. They were not there in their teens and twenties. And they are not there to get closer to god. They are there to get closer to mens wallets. And nobody ever calls them out for it. Even worse most preachers will shame men because they dont marry these thots.

Exactly, you are spot on. It's as if no matter what a woman does, she will always have a soft cushion to fall on i.e. no matter how bad her life choices are, she will always get sympathy from others on the basis that it was the men's fault for her terrible life choices. But when a man makes a bad choice in life, he is pounded and grilled from all sides, without an ounce of mercy.

To be fair on the getting drunk it's more a "dont be an alcoholic" thing than a "dont get drunk ever" thing. Theres shit tonnes of events in the Bible where people are getting pissed haha. Everything else you said is right though. Part of the reason I dont bother with church anymore. Teaching pro LGBT, pro woman, pro divorce nonsense. Ill keep my own personal relationship with God, untainted by the pussified church.

Man, I've been in the church for twenty years. THERE ARE NO - as in ZERO - CHRISTIAN WOMEN. They are all crypto-feminist mouthpieces of the anti-Christ. Don't believe me? ask any woman claiming to be a Christian if she supports God's plan for marriage, that a wife obey her husband in every thing according to Ephesians chapter 5. Not a single one will be enthusiastic about it. They will all try to find ways to rationalize out of it. One popular way: But husbands must love their wives. Loving the wife is doing what she wants. If the husband doesn't do her will, he's not loving her. Therefore she gets her way.

I grew up a Christian as well and after taking a few years after leaving home I made the choice for myself years ago. I can say there definitely aren't many... My mom is one of few truly humble women that submits to her husband. Meanwhile my sister's and my ex look down in her for it..my grandma praised her for being a godly woman do might just be older generation. She was same towards her husband who was a great man of faith. I mentioned in private to the wife at the time that she actually acts exactly how the Bible says she should....
Once it was clear she wanted something better and was getting rid of me I made it very clear I didn't believe in remarriage as the Bible is pretty clear it's adultery. Of course I'm just 'legalistic' and she was already talking about how she needs to find someone that's a better fit... In fact throughout the marriage I'd be stuck between telling her not to be petty, turn the other cheek etc and she'd be telling me I just stand up for her and that person should pay...
Not to mention the amount of wives that withhold sex... We have no problem talking about how porn is an issue but never talk about how many wives withhold sex...no one brave enough to stand up and really talk about it
I'll tell you why most of them don't follow their faith very closely... They tend to follow too much of what they feel... They can't look objectively at what they should do and do what they want to do or what feels good instead. They can't sacrifice or put others first. It's also ruining Church for men. Too many songs about emotions and 'jesus is my boyfriend' songs. Songs guys can't relate too compared to old hymns and songs about soliders of God. Because they can't take any criticism they never preach much about sin or anything someone may find offensive.. some even saying LGBTQ stuff is ok. All this started when men went to war and women took over church.. subject to increasingly beta male types that are safe. Not men like Paul

Occult women don’t live Christian lives considering the Bible condemns occult. But most “Christian” women do say parts of the Bible they don’t like are there because it was written in older times. Then they say the stuff they do like matters even though it’s old. Just because they like it.
[–]barkingtree250 points1 point2 points 6 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Why I recommend all Christian men to not go to church but instead keep your own personal relationship with God. The average church these days will do more harm than good given all the anti biblical value they teach. If you do go then at least go Orthodox, the most based sect (still not tough enough on women though)
[–]show-me-the-numbers0 points1 point2 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
That is the opposite of what the Bible commands. Christian should go to church and stand up to satanist feminist perversions.

This is an example of an "ad hominem". Rather than address the argument, this person resorts to personal attacks and name calling.

The context of the verse is a gathering, like a church. The women where being disruptive.
If there is an issue with the message, the instructions in Matthew 18:15 should be followed, to go respectfully in private first. This is not gender specific.
