This is nothing new.
But it is still entertaining. This is the oldschool television when real world content was televised: real blood by "news" programs; and (almost) naked women along with fights and drama by reality shows and sports.
They claim the war made them crazy ... No, their slutty wives made them crazy.
True.
But the whole idea of war, especially total war as we have today, is stupid. I don't know what should take for a war to happen, but I'm certain that currently it takes too little. The loss in infrastructure and lives is too big and it's very difficult to understand what was won. Take WW1 and 2 for example; during WW2 the victory was clear since Hitler was a genocide dictator, but what was gained with the victory of WW1? What was gained with the victory of the US on Korea and Vietnam? What was gained with the wars in the balkan? Wars in Africa? In the middle east? It always feels that a lot of men are fucked really hard to the benefit of few people to whom the outcome makes little to no difference. Shakes are rich before, during and after the wars; politicians still get to eat safely at their homes; soviet bureaucrats still got to fuck the economy... It ends up being a dick measuring competition that only fucks those unlucky enough to participate in it and thosenwho need the infrastructure that gets destroyed.
