You must understand, the target audience for these guys is primarily 20 - 26 year old guys who haven't gotten a lot of action, mostly. They are horny and desperate, and so are not thinking with their logical brain most of the time.

Not much experience with women combined with an extreme desire for female validation. These guys are easy to influence. Women can exploit them easily, and men can use their desire for women to exploit them easily.

"Red pill, PUA, whatever it is they call themselves, doesn't matter. They know how to get girls and they will teach me, and that is all that matters."

Of course, that is not the case, because the whole thing about PUAs is:

There is something lacking in you if you are not getting women
We are the ultimate pros at getting women - our secret is our exclusive, mysterious game
If you want to get women, trust us and do what we say (and pay us $$$ for the privilege)

I have never seen their financials, but to me it is apparent that they use this to get lots of money, views, from these guys. They have mastered this... craft (scam) to a large extent.
