Theres SO MUCH that 'didn't make it'. The 'gospel of Thomas' for instance is a 'well known apocrypha'.

Niel Gaiman covered the stories about the garden in his graphic novels 'Sandman' series, although obviously additionally fictionalized.

The initial stories hold that Lilith was created 'at the same time' as Adam, and as such was 'his equal' in female form. They add that this made her unwilling to be 'subserviant' to him, and 'dominant in sex', meaning she liked cowgirl over missionary, which 'angered god'.

She wound up sleeping with devils/fallen angels/demons, before or after her rebuke by god, and since she knew his 'secret name', was able to draw power from it, and could fly on its magic, which she used to leave the garden (presumably winding up 'down below' and siring legions of children with the demons).

That was Adams -FIRST- wife, and he also got a second that wasn't Eve either, according to the story. God makes another companion for Adam, but he does it 'with the lights on', and makes her from 'the ground up', bones, flesh muscle, mucus, meat, gristle. Adam sees everything, and is afraid of her, and won't accept her as a companion, and she is banished too (nameless?) and rejected (from the garden?).

The 'third times the charm', and Jehova makes Eve, but puts Adam to sleep first, and forms her as he's unconscious.

Thats just a summation of the story. Its also worth mentioning that, since the story 'of the garden' is likely Persian in origins, and predates rabbitic Judaism, that it was adopted and added to the mythos. Also worth mentioning that there is no mention of the 'Serpent' that 'tempts' being Satan, Lucifer or Be'el'zebub (which was an intentional mistranslation to slander local, rival religion to Judaism, worship of the 'sky king Ba'al', calling him 'lord of the flies' rather than lord of the 'skies'). Its simply inference, and faulty inference at that, to call the snake a devilish manifestation, as the fable states, in a just-so-stories manner, that god curses A&E and banishes them, he ALSO curses the serpent to 'forever crawl around on its belly'.

On the other hand, Yahweh is said to 'walk with' Lucifer, and 'walk beside' him or 'shoulder to shoulder' with him, in events chronologically 'after' this tale, which would make it a contradiction in cannon if both were intended to be taken as true (and they were supposed to be the same character).
