Attitude aside, from my understanding as a single man it will be nearly impossible for you to adopt. Unless you're a woman or a couple, they don't like allowing you raise children.

It's part of the whole anti-male campaign in the west. It's the same reason why they don't want men to be teachers, day care workers, role models, or single parents. It's bullshit, but good luck trying.

Try a pet first. Then foster. If that works out then maybe adopt. They need a home but are often fucked genetically.

Maybe there are other ways to scratch the itches of fatherhood? Break it up into the parts you look forward to. Maybe those can be achieved elsewhere (eg teach cc course, volunteering)

You could be Clark Kent and the American System will not let you adopt as a single male. Other countries might though.

I’ve looked into it once, but it’s quite the hurdle to adopt. I’m sad to say it, but it would probably be easier to have a serogate give birth to your own child.
