I see this a lot with Millenials in general, but obviously way more extreme from the females. All the bitching about not being pushed to the front for promotions with their 1-2 years of real work experience. I’m like, “why the fuck do you think you’re more worthy of the job than me - someone who has been in the business world for 15+ years to your 1-2 years. Guess what? I had to go through the same bullshit you did, now it is my turn to move up the ladder. I am a Gen X-er, about to turn 40 soon. There is no way you have any where near the knowledge and lessons learned with your 1-2 years of experience. You have plenty of fuckups to make, I have made mine and learned from them.

I think it has a LOT to do with how they were raised - so ultimately it is the parents to blame. The parents were too concerned about EVERYONE getting a trophy no matter how much they suck. You don’t learn that way, and later in life you expect rewards for little to no effort.
