The "positivity movement" is one of the worst thing they ever created. It usually translates to "what is positive FOR ME, and when I don't like something then it's special the rules don't apply". Not to mention that it also applies to any very needed criticism anyone can do (although usually, as said before, criticism is encouraged but only from female to male) stopping people from progressing (it's always funny to observe that their 'progress" actuelly means going backward). Nowadays people just want an army of yes-men and emotional tampons.

It's hilarious. Men shouldn't be doomed to silence and should be able to feel and voice those feelings. Great right? All that needs to happen now is for men to realise this and let each other feel, right?

Anyone with any sense can see that isn't the case. Quickest way to wind up single is showing vulnerability. But yea, all virtuous we are saying you deserve feelings too lol

Look, being a good boyfriend isn't hard. You just have to be attractive, charismatic, ambitious, well-off enough to pay for her and her kid's expenses, her therapist and emotional crutch, her chauffeur, and you need to be ready to give her a good dicking at her convenience.

My ex literally got an avo against me because she couldn't stand when I told her about my depression but it was completely OK with her when she told me about hers. I'm a medicine student, she's a drop out. She almost ruined my future. Fuck girls.

As someone who has been on the other end of this, context really matters man. I value authenticity more than most people and I have had an ex that was suicidal. I put up with the downward spiral of clinical depression with her and tried to bring some rays of joy in her life but nothing happened. Fast forward a few months and I am so sick with her and how she is making no progress all while sucking DRY my happiness and energy, while guilt tripping me at the same time. Be way of emotional vampires
