Let's put it this way:
When a female is playing a hero, she is DEFINITELY ACTING.
When she's playing a villain she's just being herself.

So that is why women say “just be yourself.” They think humans are all dark triad monsters deep down.
Lol

Brie Larson as Wonderwoman or whatever she is in Avengers has my suspension of belief working on overdrive to believe she isn’t lounging in her trailer between takes snapping for her 5th mai-tai of the afternoon.

that is 100% true as women in evolutionary history are almost never the leader and its unnatual for them to do so, men fight for dominance and leadership, women climb their way up.
But saying it that way sounds a little to far, nagging is women's job, not men.
[–]RedEyeBlackEye13 points4 points5 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Yep, "climb their way up" by lying, gaslighting, ass kissing, double-dealing,cheating, backstabbing, sucking dick, laying on their back(or stomach).

Villains are always more compelling. Heroic traits are....well Billy Joel said it best...
" And there's always a place for the angry young man With his fist in the air and his head in the sand And he's never been able to learn from mistakes So he can't understand why his heart always breaks But his honor is pure and his courage as well And he's fair and he's true and he's boring as hell And he'll go to the grave as an angry old man."

I think Critical Drinker said it best.
It's a 7 minute video.

They can't write good female heroes, either lack of talent or suspense of disbelief required is too large. They always end with some do-nothing-wrong android with tits and a bitch attitude.

Empowered female because reasons.
Villain is male because reasons.
This is why modern movies are terrible. Forgoing any semblance of plot and character development in order to push a political agenda.

I once read that in the old days, they wouldn't allow women to become executioners because they would get too into their job. I think they allegedly became too passionate about cutting heads off. I haven't confirmed this but I wouldn't be surprised.
[–]cattypat15 points16 points17 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Why would a woman want a inglorious manual labor job killing criminals in public? Especially when the reputation of executioners are as disturbed people. It's so much easier to kill people with underhand ways especially in the past when people died of anything in mysterious ways with nobody understanding the reasons why and no post mortems.
There's reasons women always kill with poison. No evidence, protects their reputation and safety, plus they can continue playing the act of nice girl. Women know having a good unassuming reputation lets you get away with endless crimes. Guaranteed that women are murdering people everyday and nobody will ever know about it and those that do, will simp and actively cover up for them.

Guaranteed that women are murdering people everyday
Many women carry out murders using a man as a proxie. No need for even poison

not “proof,” but relevant quote that came to mind:
Winston had disliked her from the very first moment of seeing her. He knew the reason. It was because of the atmosphere of hockey−fields and cold baths and community hikes and general clean−mindedness which she managed to carry about with her. He disliked nearly all women, and especially the young and pretty ones. It was always the women, and above all the young ones, who were the most bigoted adherents of the Party, the swallowers of slogans, the amateur spies and nosers−out of unorthodoxy.

Characters are only as interesting as their flaws. With heroes, you want to see their flaws and how they overcome their flaws. With villains, you want to see their flaws and how they fall to their flaws.
With female heroes in current year, authors are so terrified of giving women flaws because of how much the SJWs will whine and cry, that they can only write them as mary sues.
Villains however must have flaws, even if they're female (because without flaws they would be unbeatable and you wouldn't even have a story anymore), which finalyl gives authors an excuse to give them those flaws that make them more interesting.

Probably because it's easier to believe than
A 5'5 120lbs tiny armed bitch who can't even bench a buck 50 and never broke a board in her life walking in a room, saying some cool shit, then effortlessly beating five 6ft tall 200lbs fully armed well trained assassins...
With her bare hands.
The reality would be her walking in the room, them popping out,and taking turns with her for several hrs before disappearing her.

Not sure I’d agree they’re always more compelling. The one in the picture is literally just a racist murder groupie who’s wet for the main (male) villain. Not much depth there.

that last question, is he talking about the character or the actress cause something tells me the Helena Bonham Carter does.

We definitely need a 4chan like forum but only for MGTOW.
