Women have to be on some Next Level stupid to believe that this picture is unfair. As a performance artist your income is directly related to how many tickets you sell. If you're funny and you sell a lot of tickets to your events, sign deals, Etc you will clearly make more money. All this says is that women are more commonly not funny.

If there's one difference I notice between men and women is; Men will go above and beyond to achieve something where women, while putting in hard work don't go to those crazy extremes men do. I used to be a chef and you ask the women to cook an amazing chicken parmesan, they follow a recipe and it tastes amazing. Now you ask a guy to cook you a chicken parmesan and they'll research 25 different chick parm recipes in search of greatness. I will say sometimes the mens chicken sucked but other times that hunt for perfection paid off in spades and it was the best meal you've ever had. While women will do something great, men will go crazy to be the best version or fuck up royally and that's why most lists like this always are predominately male. Men are psychos, women (while psycho for different reasons) make their decisions more based on stability and you need to be a bit crazy to get to the top.

I used to be in an electronic band with a female singer, would take her an hour or two to write lyrics and it would take me an hour or two just to decide on which snare I wanted. It's the difference between "that's good enough" and "nothing is ever good enough." Clearly this is all anecdotal observation but I've rarely been proven wrong.

I went to a comedy club a few weeks ago. There was one female comedian. She spent the entire set talking about how much her “wife” liked eating her pussy. No reaction from the crowd. No one thought it was funny. She even paused at one point and said something along the lines of “you guys not into this?” The headliner was a man, and not once did he refer to his genitalia to get a laugh.

Actually comedy isn't different between genders, its unique per person. Women are just as funny as men Excluding Any Schumer.
