My brother got furloughed because of corona (he is a non-tenured college instructor). His unemployment was delayed. This all happened in the middle of april. He just got a weekend in jail for not paying alimony (in may, he is just behind) because he decided to eat that month instead of starving and paying alimony. His ex wife got the judge to order him to pay for the lawyer she used to take him to court for 1200 of alimony. He is now 4k in debt where he has no debt before but got a nice 3 squares while in jail.
