I'd like to begin with a thought experiment:
It was the German chemist, Ernst Späth, who, in 1919 was the first person to synthesize mescaline in the lab. Many years ago I read an account of his experience, so I'm going to misquote it a bit (plus there's the translation issue)... "It was as if I was surrounded by a sea of gold and precious gems as far as the eye could see. And when I looked at my hand it was as though it were not my hand - it was as if my hand was alien to me. It was an experience I cannot recreate."
So - there's some chemist, tripping balls, looking at his hands, much like the caricature of a stoner... but here's the thought experiment; looking at something familiar - as if it were foreign...
Perhaps not your own hand, but, perhaps, your sexuality...
When I look at women nowadays I look at them without the common heterosexual male desire (or if I do, I can easily switch it off). I look at breasts and I see utters. I look at a neckline and I see weak upper body strength (of most women - stringy or fat). I look at a woman's stature and I see her as being like a short and flabby man. I look them in the face more, and I look away less. I was never shy (and was briefly a PUA for maybe a year or two in college), but I don't get much of a rush out of talking to them now, and I'm certainly not timid. Eye contact doesn't bother me as much as it used to.
I look at them more now. I see over-developed levator labii superiori - the scowling muscle. I see orbicularis oculi taut with disdain in staged photographs. I can read the muscle-tone of their face and see their most common emotions (or lack). I see eyes that are not quite front centered and focused (I observe that many people's right eyes are pointed off as a subtle angle, only a few degrees off; I suspect it has something to do with this, also see the human connectome project, and neurology of the sexes)... I see women as if through foreign eyes - their faces look strange to me now (when I look at them deeply).
I look at them more objectively, and, as a consequence, I have less desire to insert myself into their mucus holes. Game theory predicts "defecting" and women (and men) "defect". I have little desire to compete for disloyal people's affections. Even loyal people get "the seven year itch", so to speak.
My libido is at an all-time low, and I have more free time without obsessing over women. It's amazing, looking back, how much time I wasted on chasing women. And when I look back objectively - I see few net-positive interactions with women. There is good and bad, but, on the whole, women have been a net-negative investment of time.
It is kind of like when a boy looks at a girl as "gross". I remember feeling that way. And I've known a few women with "kooties" (and am lucky enough to be of good health... and don't need a kooty-shot, so to speak... but I'm glad that modern antibiotics and vaccines exist). I look at women now, with waning desire, and often times I'm disgusted.
I'm becoming more and more asexual - the more and more I look at women objectively.
It's like blurring your eyes and looking at things in a different way, or switching off the sexually dimorphic nucleus of the medial preoptic hypothalamus of your brain.
I don't look at women as sex objects (like they profess to want sometimes). As a consequence, like my last post, I don't give them as much leniency - I essentially called that woman boring (something I don't think she expected, nor processed). It's very liberating.
I thought it was fitting to post on the MGTOW subreddit. I'm curious if anyone else has become asexual.
I like it, it works for me. I find myself watching commercials, or out-and-about, or on social media and seeing a woman pose... and I think to myself in a monotone "oh look, a woman presenting" and perhaps my mind flashes to a nature documentary with a baboon's flush red rump. I look at it with an almost scientific interest. "look at how this one cocks her head to the side in a display of submission, yet with teeth bare, and squinted eyes, as if a cat - laying a trap. Prostrate on the ground, claws out, tail poised."
I don't hate dogs for presenting - why would I hate women for "twerking"? I don't hate women - I just don't tend to enjoy them.
The red pill has some interesting side-effects (which are not bad). And though I'm not Ernst Späth, nor do I have any inclination toward drugs; intellectually, it's like I'm looking at the world with different eyes. An altered state of mind... through observation.
I can't stop laughing at a music video that used to make me sad.
"Our lives have to die
Of that there's no help
My favourite way to end them
Is the orb-weaver spider's whose pedipalp
Enters the female pudendum.
Then dies on the spot
His corpse there still stuck,
Left for his rivals to curse at.
He would rather die than not get to fck
Personally I reckon it's worth it.
"
Personally, I don't reckon it's worth it. But it is interesting to observe the orb-weaver spiders doing their mating dance. Culture looks so much more different through asexual glasses. Does anyone else get that feeling?
Life is good.
Also, if you respond, let me know how it's going (just to be friendly and personable).
