Unpopular opinion: NTA
Women are programmed by evolution to be sexually repulsed by weak men. And we all know women are lead by muh feels.
She hears her bf describing how he was dominated by another man, even years ago, and has no choice but to obey her hindbrain programming and reclassify a former alpha man as a beta.
We all know women are incapable of regulating their own hypergamy. Individual men can to some extent, but really it is society as a whole that needs to regulate female hypergamy.
Until society as a whole starts accounting for and regulating hypergamy, stories like this will continue to come up.

Yes this is seen, albeit to a smaller extent with women everywhere.
Man get sick, can't support the wife like he used to, wife becomes unattracted.
Altercation in public, man does the right thing and walks away to diffuse the situation instead of fighting, woman becomes unattracted.

Wildly unpopular yet realistic opinion:
Be honest fools - would you stay with a woman, post-rape incident?
One of my relationshits ended when I told her that if she was ever raped for any reason that it was over. That level of bagage will never be given an inch of space in my life.
So, as an egalitarian, I could never fault this woman. It is in her very nature to run from him as he has been labeled weak in all facets of society, even if it is not his fault. Face reality. She is extremely sane for deserting him and any one of you sick fucks who would stay with a rape victim - are you that god damned desperate? Pathetic!
