I had buyers remorse once kind of like this. I was seeing a girl who was super into makeup and always had crazy colored eye shadow. One day, I went over to her place and waited in her room while she was in the shower. As she comes into her room while wiping her face dry with her towel, I looked at her. My eyes opened wide as I kind of jumped back. I was startled a little bit. She noticed this and said “I look a little different without makeup”. I was nodding “yeah you do” in my head but told her “What?! What are you talking about?”. She looked like a totally different person and thought someone else walked into her room. She went from like a 6.5 with makeup to a 3 without it👎

I've seen this firsthand when I was younger. Chick got shitfaced drinking at an all day fest. The driver had to stop to stop so she could throw up on the side of the road. She decided a shower at my house would help her feel better. She was a ginger and her skin was a blotchy mess; her eyebrows and eyelashes effectively disappeared. She looked like an alien. And, the slow fade began.

Imagine marrying someone you've spent who knows how long with and presumably loves just to divorce them because they're not as hot as you thought.
