Fuck that I’m hitting the gym

Quit alcohol instead, it's metabolised by the liver and converted straight into visceral fat.
[–]LifeAndReality853 points4 points5 points 6 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link
I did that! It’s the best! I quit drinking beer first and I had 50 pounds fall right off with zero effort. I still drank liquor for a while, but now I’m 2 months off that. I feel incredible, so clear headed, I love it. I have zero reasons to go back.
If I’m being real, smoking DMT helped me come to peace with all this. But now I don’t use drugs or drink, so I’d say I came out the other side a winner. And I’ve been vegan for 5 years now and love it. Again, it helped me to start thinking in a much more clear way.

Good for you ^ id like to try going vegan too, but unfortunatelly i have a psychological blockade of some sort so i need meat :c but im alcoholess and drugless from birth, its amazing to see other people deteriorating before my eyes from smoking and drinking, jeez, im chubby, yet i have more endurance then some of the ripped people

One of my friends, a very successful programmer that was living in Santa Monica, making 6 figures, had everything, started dating this model chick. She was on pain pills, and she full on cucked him and got him to start taking pain pills too. Then eventually heroin. He lost everything. I met him at my old Methadone clinic. He didn’t start taking drugs until he was in his 30’s. IN HIS 30’s?!?!? He basically beat the system and won and then this bitch flashed her naked body and dragged him back in.
It’s sad to watch. He’s doing better now, and I think that I will tell him about this site. And thankfully I don’t go to the Methadone clinic anymore, it was luckily very very short lived for me. The people there were toxic and it was only slightly helpful. If my dad wasn’t so supportive of me I would be dead in a ditch right now. But thankfully I was able to pull myself together and now I’m going back to school taking computer science classes.

That's not a psychological block. The human body needs animal protein to function at it's best and most efficient. Plant protein is not only much harder for the human body to process, it is also inferior to animal protein. Your body is telling you what it needs to survive and be healthy.
[–]EEEGuba690 points1 point2 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Yeah but i literally can puke just because of a drop of beetroot juice on my tongue or the smell of pickles for example, i have like 10-15 plants that i eat unprocessed, i cant eat tomatoes but tomato soup, ketchup, tomato sauce always, its dumb

Damn I need to switch. I just love beer especially this time of year. I think I could make a subtle switch to liquor and maybe quit all together. The problem really is I like to drink socially.
[–]LifeAndReality852 points3 points4 points 6 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
I like to drink socially too, that was a hard one. But for me what helped was going out with my friends to the bar and staying out with them all night and not drinking. I got to watch them all acting silly and making fools of themselves and then and there I realized that I had broken free. I like to party too! I also love to ride motorcycles and you can’t do that if you’re drinking. I mean you can, but it limits your lifespan to, give or take, the next 15 minutes. There is nothing girls love more than a guy who is clean, dresses well, and rides a motorcycle. Just order a coke with a lime in it at the bar, tip the bar tender well since you’re not drinking.
Also it helps to have some weed at home or something like that so you have something to offer a girl when she comes home with you. When I was 15 and joined this Vespa scooter club, the first lessons my older friends taught me is to always have a second helmet with you for when, not if, a girl wants a ride.
I don’t drink, but I will take non addictive substances like weed or psychedelics. Just occasionally. And that has helped me stay off the booze and the addictive stuff like heroin and cocaine. Those aren’t drugs, those are weapons for social control. Which is exactly why the CIA sells them.

some weed at home
Yeah I used to partake from time to time. When I did I noticed I drank a lot less. I wish it was legal in Florida because I know I'd smoke to fill that void. I much prefer a nice high than buzzed from drinking. It blows my mind that it's still a class 1 narcotic. Fuck Nixon.

I got my medical card recently in Michigan and it’s a game changer. I no longer have to play guessing games with that substance. It’s like the difference between taking an adderall pill from the pharmacy that your doctor gave you versus buying a crack rock from a homeless person at a gas station.
I never was big on weed but I realized that was because I didn’t know wtf I was smoking. There are so many different types and strains with very different effects with different strains.

Weight loss is not easy believe me i am 47 the margin for error and cheating is very thin but i just don't want to develop metabolic syndrome, and all sort of disease related because i have a few extra pounds
[–]DrDontGivaDamn4 points5 points6 points 6 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
I quit drinking beer, started keto and doing intermittent fasting and went from 250 to 220 in about a month.
Not cheating is pretty hard but if you stick with it you can lose a lot pretty quickly.
Hell yeah! You’re killing it! I had a similar experience quitting beer. It’s the absolute worst. Just makes you fat.

Guys i did keto for 6 months, with some fasting, my hair thinned like crazy and i lost around 20 pounds nothing major. Now keto did amazing things for some people i was not one of them. Got my thyroid and testosterone level tested and they where on the down side. Carbs are needed for testosterone and thyroid hormone production also hair growth. I got tested by my sport doctor that highly recommended i quit keto and fasting too and get on a nutritional plan.
I do much better eating a few times per day, i manage to keep the weight off this way, by adding dairy like 1% milk Greek yogourt, low fat cheese, multi grain bread, natural peanut butter, lean red meat, chicken, olive oil, oat meal etc.... my hair as grown back a lot thicker and my energy level is back.
Right now i train with kettlebells i love it and do boxing i bough an XXL wavemaster bag its huge.....this is my program i do 3 times per week.
Run in place 30 seconds jumping jack 30 seconds bridge 30 seconds plank 30 seconds superman 30 seconds Russian twist sit ups 30 seconds burpees 15 reps push ups 20 reps

I am happy I got all substances out of my life in my early 20s.
Life as a sober man is great and only gets better from thereon as I face my problems head-on.

I feel that bro. We are going the right way, keep it up
[–]memelord360420 3 points4 points5 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Inaccurate. Married men aren't allowed beer. The wife won't let them spend her money on that

I'm basically Apolo.

We see this everywhere and it’s sad man, and everyone thinks this is funny... I see it being shared where girls tag their boyfriend or husband, what if one was made showing how they get fat and disgusting after marriage? Or after time.
