An ex of mine reached out a couple of months ago. We are in lockdown here, so I thought "what the hell" and plated her for a month or so. We'd been seeing each other casually a few times a week, watching movies, cooking dinner, drinking wine and banging.

Obviously, the inevitable "what are we" talk was coming. Then she said this:

"When we were together before, you were an asshole. You only came over when you were drunk and wanting sex. You never took me anywhere. I was heartbroken when you broke up with me.
