As anecdotal as this may be, I'll give you advice based on experience: I was in your shoes, and if I could go back and remake my decision, I would respectfully decline. I ended up having to not only deal with the whiny wife afterwards as mediator, but also on plain stupid issues with them together as a "whiny couple". It almost seemed like my bud had turned into a woman, himself.

Getting into a major argument was inevitable. A year later, we don't talk anymore.

I was in your situation. Their marriage was annulled within 6 months. They didn't even have sex on their wedding night because she was "too tired". They didn't have sex during their honeymoon because the "the walls are thin and someone might here us".

Just be there to support him once she becomes a lazy fuck and it all falls apart.

His parents paid for their house so after the annulment he got to kick her ass to the curb. She got nothing.

I don't see her madly in love with him, I just see a practical decision of a woman in her mid-30s. And I know he's been bothered by how many people she slept with in the past.

But: I have a simple role to fill and I plan to just have fun and not get in their way. They're doing this thing, I want to add no more stress and be a stress reliever in whatever way I can.

Do I think it's a smart move for him, especially since he makes good money? Hellll no.

Go do everything for him. A real friend stands by even your bad decisions and, if it all goes wrong, helps pick up the pieces afterwards.

I've never really cared for weddings. I declined one invitation to be a best man, and that was before the whole divorce and MGTOW thing. There's no way I'd attend a wedding now (even my kids'), never mind participate in such a farcical social tradition.

But hey, maybe I'm just bitter.
