Good post. Great idea. I'll start with a simple one:

Single mothers who badmouth their ex. If she's happy to tell total strangers that her ex is a cunt and accuse him of insane shit then the chances of you getting the same allegations when you dump are big

She obviously has nothing to offer but she is constantly trying to get you to tell her what you have to offer.

She gets insulted when I ask her what she has to offer in a relationship.

She orders the most expensive appetizer on the menu and then looks at you to see how you react (the party platter - onion rings, wings, chicken fingers, etc)

This is a great thread, and I'm going to answer totally honestly in the hope that someone can avoid the same sort of pain I went through. So, my red flags:

1) You meet her, and she shows interest in you, even when she's dating someone else. Remember this is indicative of her personal morality/boundaries more than your attractiveness. If she has done it to someone else, she will do it to you.

2) She takes up a long term health condition as a part of her identity. Some people out there have difficult mental health or physical issues, but live well regardless. Others use them as a shield to excuse their actions and behaviours.

3) If you ever ask her what initially attracted her to you, the answer is alarmingly shallow or vague. I've had my hair and arms used as reasons. You can guess how much they really valued me in those relationships.

4) They have little respect for, hate, are indifferent toward, or have otherwise dysfunctional relationships with their fathers. Fathers are the first lens through which women see and understand men.

5) High aspirations, but virtually no concrete action to achieve them. This is a person that overvalues themselves and their abilities without actually committing to any real life pain or risk. Often related to number 2.

6) They claim to have no friends or social life. It takes some effort for most people to create an enjoyable social life, but less for young women. It is relatively straightforward to become involved in a community, or set up a social media profile and/or occasionally meet up with people. If they hide their original social life from you, it's a way back if things don't work out with you.

7) They have very few active interests, but a mind-boggling array of passive interests; watching television, movies and YouTube, scrolling through social media, phone app games, shopping, collecting toys and trinkets, etc. This is someone that will expect to be entertained but do very little to create that entertainment.

I may add to this post later as I remember them, but these are serious red flags for me.

Inconsistency between her words and her actions. Once this red flag is spotted in any way shape or form, hit the fire alarm and run for the exit.

Ex is stalking me. - She accused me of the same thing after I dumped her.

Saying "I love you" after only 3 days of fucking. You can imagine when I broke up with her after a couple years, she didnt take it calmly.

Black. I went out with a black girl, I found out just how incredibly racist black people are against white people.

Friendship. Any woman who wants to be close friends wants sex and is lying to me/herself about it.

Lots of sex. Usually using sex to cover up their personality flaws for example: compulsive lying.

"Everyone is getting married, what about us? " ~ via text msg after seeing her cousins getting engaged followed by a phone call 30 mins later "well aren't you going to propose?" "I don't like the idea of you going to college you might meet someone else there" ~after telling that I was going to college after high school instead of settling down at the age of 18

"delete your myspace I don't want you to have one, your relative will just have to find some other way to chat with you" ~I never did delete my myspace

-Compares you to her ex(s) especially when they were better at something, means she was left by someone, and wants you to fill that hole(gg) in her life.

-"You would make a good [occupation of her higher status ex]"

-Talks about open relationships

-Tells her fantasies about wanting to be fucked by a junkie in a dirty public toilet

-Glamorizes sugar babies

-Lots of male friend, no female friends

God dammit... The biggest red flag is that she's a woman and interested in you... Fuck em if you can get away with it, but never start a relationship.

-Insecure and jealous (and she even admitted it)

-Low self-esteem

-Feelings of emptiness

-Fear of abandonment

-Doesn't appreciate nature

-Asked if I would spend my money on her (this was only 1 month in the relationship)

-Asking for my income very early on (self-explanatory)

-Getting cheated on by all of her exes (obviously there is a reason for that)

-Owns 50 soft toys and still wants more (this is a sign that she will never be satisfied with life)

-Cut herself before (OMG please run ASAP)

-Asking if my parents/relatives like her after bringing them to meet her
