It was the late 80's, just turned 21, I started clubbing, drinking, dancing, hoping to meet a floozy to nail for the night, meet a cutie outside while I'm out for a smoke, we chat for a bit, seem to hit it off, ask her if she wants to dance, she says but me a drink first, I say let's dance and I'll get you that drink, she says no playfully get me the drink and then we'll dance, I say how about I don't buy you shit and we dance, she rolls off in a huff, I laugh it off, decided to have another smoke, about ten mins later some muscular simp comes to give me shit about how I treated her, my cousin's friend immediately steps in, knows the guy by reputation, he took a cheap shot at his younger brother a month earlier, gets the guy to fight, says wait I need to take my shoes off bc they're expensive/Italian (they were), before me and my cuz know what's happening, the guy is on the ground, cousins friend whacked him with the heel of each shoe knocking him out, cousins friend says run, we do it like the wind. laugh our asses off at Denny's while eating moons over my hammy.
