I agree! When you become the person you're meant to become then women seem like a complete and utter distraction. Goals are impermanent whereas women/humans fluctuate based on their feelings.

One cool thing I realised about goals is that it really incentivizes balance, health, and a sustainable true soul enriching lifestyle.

As the makers of the "magic flight launch box " say

Love is that which that enables choice. Love is stronger than fear. Always choose on the basis of love.

My goals driven by fear ended up in suffering in accordance with the progression from fear to sufferring laid out by Yoda (lol). But goals truly based on true love for myself and others are so much more sustainable and achievable, even though growth requires some sort of struggle.

Even just trying to live a balanced, upwards oriented life is a challenge for me, but I believe it to be very noble. Such a lifestyle doesn't feel like a huge, boast-worthy goal, but slowly moving towards that destination is really transforming my life, and is very fulfilling. The more steadily I improve my life across the board, the more I feel like I have lived a life well lived, and my mind is less closed off to seeking out constructive criticism and tips for further growth.

Recently I was blown away thinking about goals, so I really appreciate this type of post.

The world will have us rot down if we don't give a little upwards pressure. My favorite way to frame my goals is by way of travelling vehicle metaphor

A car will slow down and stop if we don't give a little constant force forward. It may seem like we are just "staying the same (speed)" for long periods of time, but our surroundings (life) will be continually changing in the forward direction. One day we will find ourselves landing at our goal. It will be a big change, for it did not happen overnight.

As the "Abs Of Steel" host says, "Consistency is key!... ...for long term results."
