Yeah I stopped going to weddings years ago, it's basically a funeral with cake, you can find a better use for your money.

Can confirm was at a wedding and most women were overweight. The amount of females that were there and at a healthy weight was sadly in the single digits.

What is now the norm is no one complains about it. It has just become a way of life to be unhealthy and accepting of everyone working towards type two diabetes.

The only shaming and negativity I saw about weight was the bride complaining about other women at her party who were “skinny bitches”. How dare those specific women come to my wedding and enjoy themselves and celebrate my relationship. And be healthy and active looking..... while she downs 3-6 wine glasses and 5-10 beers.....

It’s really hard to go to weddings after I was RP’d. The whole scene is hard. The Bridezilla having “her day”. The crazy money spent, the poor clueless groom being led to the gallows. The hope in their eyes that you know will likely by hatred before you know it. The nagging suspicion that at least 2/3 guys in the room have plowed the bride. Knowing that some day I will be sitting at my own kids weddings thinking the same things.
