Eating out alone is a blast. I bring my kindle, earbuds, get a couple bourbons, and enjoy. Some of the hostesses seem surprised when I say “just me” but besides that no one gives a fuck. Nobody is going to mock a well-kept dude minding his own business, especially if he tips well. And if they do, the opinions of random servers are not a big concern of mine.

Going out by yourself is strange at first.

But that's just your insecurities coming out, just sit at the bar if you want to blend in more.

I sometimes go by myself to grab a beer and a quick steak, late at night. It's actually pretty nice! A whole different experience than going with buds or a girl. And it builds character lol

Just have a beer in hand, and watch the TV or play on your phone. Don't spend time looking around you or you really will look lonely. Just get comfy and take up the empty space around you.

I had a phase where I wanted to go out almost everyday, and you can't find people to go with you everyday that easily. So I started going alone to get my alcohol fix and it was actually really enjoyable. I go late nights, to avoid the busy hours

I make it a point to take myself out to eat at LEAST once a month at a nice restaurant! Clear my mind and enjoy my own company
