It's a bunch of hormones and chemicals that causes chemicals reactions, it isn't that you aren't experiencing the emotions; it's just not that you're experiencing them for the reasons you think you are.

Everything that we experience is just electrical impulses in our brain, interpreted through an incredibly complex parsing engine.

When this part of the brain gets tickled we feel great.

When that part of the brain gets tickled we feel awful.

Sometimes we've spent too much time with our prefrontal cortex engaged and just want to turn the dopamine pump on for a while.

So alcohol, or other drugs.

The bonds that you feel toward family are built with oxytocin - social bonding is not unique to mammals but arguably mammals have leveraged it the most.

The "pull" that you feel toward an attractive woman is primarily the sex center of your brain identifying traits that your genes say would combine with yours to make a healthy offspring. A younger woman with hide hips is better than an older woman with lots of accumulated genetic damage who might not be able to breastfeed your offspring. Etc.

A lot of this happens at the instinctive level, invisible to our ability to self-audit (except in retrospect).

Being "in love" refers to the initial period of attraction, the "honeymoon period" or "New Relationship Energy", which always wears off within a year or two max.

This is a period characterized by a flood of oxytocin and dopamine and sex hormones that is, essentially, evolution doing it's damndest to cause you to knock her up.

Remember the genes themselves have no awareness of any circumstances - they don't know or care whether you can afford kids, whether you want kids, whether you want to be a father, whether you think you would make a good father, whether you think she would make a particularly stable mother..

The ONLY thing they care about is whether she would make a physically suitable host for the literal parasite that you would plant in her.

That sounds dramatic until you read up on the physiological changes of pregnancy - even fetal blood cells literally "steal" oxygen molecules from maternal blood cells by having a higher affinity for oxygen. Quite literally, a baby is, in the biological sense, a parasite up until birth.

Humans are so socially integrated that all evolution had to do was keep you hypnotized by this desire to mate for a couple of years - by then the infant has either died or stabilized (infant mortality used to be ridiculously high) and in either case now you're ready to move on and do it again.

Women find comfort when they find a guy they know who will provide. They see investment in a situation.

Men are loyal by nature and see their trusted partner as someone to protect and take care of.

Your free to go by the Rick Sanchez interpretation (ie: “love is a hormone that compels animals to breed, break the cycle, focus on science”) you likely won’t have much enjoyment without oxycontin or related chemicals in life, from a scientific standpoint. These chemicals are only released when your with a partner, so yes love does exist.

Actually, Love is not fake.

Society's idea of "Falling in Love" is fake.

It is a fantasy. There is both feminine love and masculine love. The feminine love story is the beauty and the beast, whereas the male love story is that of becoming the hero and as a result getting the virgin princess.

It's not that love is fake. It's just the kind of love that the society had us believe, this is fake. That wonderful idea of 'unconditional' love, its stupid. Love will not conquer all, or be forever lasting. If we don't do our shit as men (as expected by women), women can eventually lose attraction, and no relationship will continue to bubble without a base level of sexual attraction.

People who take a super hardline approach to MGTOW think that "Love" (as in all aspects) is fake. Nope its not. Its like a failsafe or something - don't fall in love don't get oneitis and you will always be ok.

But love is not all just "man and a woman, then kuchi kuchi ku". No. Love in other aspects (like loving a child, loving your pet etc) is real and brings great joy but also much suffering. Such is the human experience. Live in the moment and be your best self, accept that whatever you may feel as love or whatever a woman tells you doesn't matter because it can all be gone tomorrow.

Also, one more thing : You don't find quality women, you train them.

Since you are asking about marriage, I will assume that you are talking about that "kuchi kuchi ku" love.

So yeah, Love does exist, but it only exists in a man. I'm going to assume you mean romantic love and talk about that.

The love we've seen in Disney fantasies has a number of qualities. The love we've been taught growing up as children have these qualities :

1)Unconditional - Love transcends income, looks, height, even race or species. Love can happen regardless of all of these. People will fall in love regardless of all of these once they meet the "right person." Basically the stupidest form of stupidity I have seen in my life (well my life has just started since I am in college now, but I'm 18 and a curious kid, c'mon)

2) Eternal and unflinching - Not only does love last forever but "true love" never fades unless there is serious abuse or neglect.

We know women don't feel this. The vast majority won't even look at a guy below her economically and other aspects (80/20). Those who do look at men on a lower economic or educational side and date them have higher rates of divorce because woman generally don't enjoy being the bread winner. It brings them no fulfillment because they weren't designed to do it like men were. Dick is cheap nowadays (special thanks to all the betas/manginas/white knights).

The number one cause of divorce is "financial reasons." And the vast majority of divorces are initiated by women. In a world where women loved then the only legitimate reason a woman would leave her "true love" is for serious neglect or abuse. But abuse is the lowest recorded reason for divorce.

Women also do not love men for what's inside. They need to be physically attracted first, that's the only thing that matters. And women have a very shallow definition of attractive. There are no "Beauties" going after "Beasts" because Beast is "sweet and almost kind." (Beauty and the beast reference, my fav)

A woman's love is more like Taylor Swift from the song "Wildest dreams."

"He's so tall and handsome as hell, he's so bad but he does it so well."

A woman will love you only as long as she is sexually or in any other way attracted to you and her ideas of attraction changes like the wind, often purely subject to her hormones. Her sexual attraction is also extremely shallow and often based on superficial qualities that a man cannot control. Like his height or whether he has good hair.

A man has sexual standards as well but typically it boils down to "Does she look healthy?" Or "does she have a good character/personality" etc. Things that the vast majority of woman can control with their choices and actions unlike the way women judge men.

A man's love however remains often times even if his wife gains 100 pounds as long as she isn't neglecting him. (Look around you, you will find such people easily)

You take a 10 out of 10 man and give him a wife who is a 4 but gives him amazingly well treatment with characteristics that a woman should have and he'll literally be in love forever.

He won't fall out of love. It's simply not within his nature. He's going to come back to her.

Women fall out of love for any number of stupid reasons. Maybe they watched Magic Mike too many times and are now comparing their balding husband to Channing Tatom. Maybe their hormones have changed and he simply doesn't give her the same tingles he once did. Or hell, maybe he just fell on hard times and got sick or lost his job. He isn't providing her the same lifestyle. That's often enough.

Love does exist, it just comes from dogs and men. Not every man, but when it does exist, it's men who feel it. Men love for the sake of love, women love for what a man can do for them. Its just what it is. Unconditional love from women does not exist.

Just embrace this and be free from your denial phase.

Love to me does exist however it is equally dangerous as it is wonderful.. ying and yang per say.

Love can make you feel great and amazing. True.

But..

Love can make you feel terrible as well.

I look back to when I was still blue pilled n think man I really loved these bitches but man did it feel terrible in the overall sense of things. There’s plenty of dudes that are still blue pilled that love a girl that cheat on them n they try to work through it n blah blah blah.. that love is not a good feeling but it’s still love.

There are dumb bitches out there that get beat on a daily basis that won’t leave the guy cause they love him. I’m sure that love doesn’t feel great.

Just the thing is the guy assumes more risk in falling in love than a woman does. Cuz both of those women, the cheater & the victim of abuse, both have the ability to fuck a guy over in divorce court, file child support if kids are involved, possibly get alimony, falsely accuse of something without due process, etc

Love is an evolutionary adaptation. People create strong bonds that we call love, romantic love, caring, etc to procreate, protect and secure offspring's chance of survival. As we all know love is most strong during the honeymoon phase because it's the imprinting and bonding stage. It continues on at a strong level when the offsprings are still young and vulnerable. A woman has a vested interest in maintaining a man's love for her because he will offer resources and protection. After the offsprings grow to adulthood, this love pretty much fizzles away because there's no more evolutionary benefit. It's quite rare to find people in love with their partners after 30 years, and if it happens it's the exception. That's how I see love from the big picture. Of course, people are correct in explaining it as neurochemical processes in the brain.
