But I only do that a couple times a year. I prefer relationships that are happy, and "serious" relationships have no value nor benefit. And certainly aren't fun.

You spend a lot of time having "relationship maintenance" talks, rather than fucking or fun. So skip that crap.

My understanding is there's different degrees. The main point is you don't share property, resources, or children. Some guys vary from one night stands to dating through to monk mode ( no relationship or sex) or minimal to no contact with women at all.

Cohabitation is forbidden.

Long term relationships (LTRs) are discouraged but not forbidden. You can pump and dump if you want too. Not doing that, and shunning as much contact as possible, or being nothing more than friends with women, on your terms. This is getting into Monk mode.

It means you don't commit into any relationship that will potentially end up in indentured servitude or simply destitute.

no marriage - because in all likelihood you'll end up paying a lifetime alimony, or, be a lifetime wage slave.

no cohabitation - may lead to false rape allegation, common law marriage, which consequently result in you losing your home and be put on the sex offenders list.

no impregnating women - because that will lead to child support, which is the reason why most homeless people are men.

Just not caring very much about women as a thing to be interested in.

Like, say, lemurs. If I met someone with a pet lemur, I'd say "Hey, neat, a lemur!" Then I would go about my business. Occasionally I see pictures of lemurs on the internet. "Look at that cute lemur!" But buy a lemur and feed and care for it and special food and restricting my schedule to care for it? Nah that's not fucking happening. It's just a goddamn lemur why would I go through all that trouble?

MGTOW = Men Going Their Own Way.

It does not = Man going a random thots way.

It does not = Man going his girlfriends way.

It does not = Man going his wife's way.

No matter what mental gymnastics you do, or how much you lie to yourself, if you are with a woman you are not in control. If you are trading your honor and/or self respect for pussy or female validation, you are not MGTOW.

There isnt a specific rule. You are the master of your destiny. The thing is we deny the societies pressure on men and focus on reality, truth and transparency not only on women. So no there isnt anything like that. Some are monks who dont interact with women at all, there are fuckboys who just fuck with women and then leave them or those who seek for a relationship, but in which they are cautious and dont let women take over them. Or just generally we care about ourselves not women etc.

Prefer not to have them anywhere near... won't permit them on my property, etc. -- try to reduce/minimize even professional (formal or informal) contact with them elsewhere as well.
