I have separate assets by our marital law contract (not a prenup so enforced) too... but this is more to her benefit.

Actually looking for an apartment to buy (with one proposed by her father's acquaintance)

It's close to the station and in the center of a small town where everything I need is around 500m.

She thinks I will rent it but... who knows ;=)

Then, I'll have plenty of time to get my money from the divorce and buy a house and another apartment.

Life sounds good once you have options.

This does not mean all prenuptial agreements can't be contested. Also did you know about something called a postnuptial agreement?

Guys, it's free to go your own way while it costs a lot of money to get married, take care of a woman and pay an attorney to protect you if things go sideways. Just go your own way.
