What strikes me is she likely took care of herself. She is not overweight and does not look haggard.

She eulogizes the loss of her looks and attractiveness. Meanwhile women half her age are consciously destroying their attractiveness in their prime years by becoming fat, bitchy and tatted. They build their own wall and then run screaming headfirst into it.
