The idea of speed dating is cringe to me.

Love should develop naturally, starting with a friend, then over time develop into mutual feelings, then love. Looks like a blue pill shit, but that's what love supposed to be, a mutual feeling. That's why you see lots of love animes with childhood friends marrying each other. Or your best, trusted friend at university or high school, that have mutual love feelings.

Speed dating just destroyed all those, and base love on materialism. "How much you make", "what house you have", "what car you have", etc. etc. Ironically, women are treated as objects in speed dating - you don't like, Next! I really find this cringy, to say the least. Most awkward dating, with no other than materialism in mind to speak of.
