You miss out on carneval rides when you're not riding them, you miss out on eating a big mac when you're not eating it, you miss out on the coke high when you're not using it... likewise, you miss out on a girlfriend/wife when you don't have one.

I can only assume they actually mean you shouldn't miss out and at that point I let them self destruct by asking them to clarify their arguments.

It's taken almost 3 years but my family has finally accepted, and understood, that i'm more than happy alone.

They needed to see it for themselves. after two years of being single my alopecia areata has now gone, and I now have a full head of hair, my IBS has stopped, my atopic eczmea has stopped, my depression has dissipated and my anxiety is nothing but a distant memory. Seeing that I have literally become a fitter, healthier, and more attractive human being is more than enough evidence.

Now they don't ask. They see i'm happy and healthy and don't need no split arse in my life, and said life has never been better.

I lost my job last year. was the first time in 17 years i had been out of a job. If i had a family, I would've been in debt and so stressed. my wife probably would've left me. instead I took 6 months off, because I had a savings to sit back on and took my time to find a new job, that i love. there was ZERO stress, just a bit of existential passion searching about what kind of job i wanted. that was it.

AS GOOD AS A WOMANS BODY MAY FEEL.....THE FEELING OF NOT HAVING MONEY IS 500X WORSE IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION. it trumps everything. you won't give a shit about a pair of nice titties if you aren't sure where your weekend groceries are going to come from.
