This the totality of the red pill. its not just women, its society as a whole. Its only tough to swallow at first because of the shattering of the illusion that we're loved / respected somehow. However, once you learn the truth, life becomes easier. When you understand that women and society lie to you simply to use you and throw you out like trash when a better option comes along, you can focus on yourself and make a great life on your own. If other men do care about you, it's because you're competition. Such is the life of an alpha male. You'll have women who want you and men who want to be you. But if you slip up and show weakness the women will leave and the males will stab you in the back to take your place. "Care" isn't a positive thing here.

Big facts...but remember that it’s not necessarily a bad thing. Basically every incredible feat of male sweat & ingenuity in the history of the world was created because of this harsh reality. The flip side of this is that not only are men obsessed with achievement, but they're good at it too. This bias is literally baked into human DNA, and in many of the species we evolved from before that. As a result males have been selected to be highly successful in competition.

Sure, in any competition between two men there is a winner and a loser, but they're both men. Put that man up against a woman in almost any event, and the man will win, unless the event is carefully tailored to benefit the morphological differences in women.

I'd say that women would win a beauty contest, but recently a trans-woman won one of those too.
