I'm getting discharged from the MGTOW hospital today! I want to thank all my fellow patients. Commiserating with you through our shared injuries gave me a community I could find nowhere else when I needed it most. I remain available for anyone who feels I can help them but it's time for me to go. The moans of injured men have begun to hurt me more than help me.

I didn't meet a unicorn. I'm leaving for me and going my own way. I have traversed a stage of grief and truly hope you all can too. The resentment you feel (and I felt) is justified but it is not productive and no matter what happened to you, you know that. My story is tame by comparison to many of you. There are men here who have been truly destroyed and I am lucky to have gotten off so easily. My goal is not to demean any of you or belittle your suffering. I really do understand how you feel. I was in the depths of it not long ago. My goal instead is to offer hope to those willing to hear it.

Much of what is said here is true, I haven't forgotten my lessons. Those lessons are such a small picture of the world though. I am turning my attention towards my own life and the things within my power. I realized that I've carried resentment for a long time and it has poisoned me and everything I've touched. I haven't rid myself of it but just to acknowledge it has empowered me and lifted a weight from my shoulders. All the energy and time I've spent wishing things were different has been a burden and a waste. That's time and energy I let others steal from me and the power to redirect those resources into self improvement has always been within me. I hope you all want the best life for yourselves, and can refocus your strengths into your own betterment. I have a shit load of "bettering" to do and I wish I got started years ago. I wont waste another moment undermining my own happiness by blaming others and dwelling on my pain.

For those of you who read this far, some resources that got me to this point are:

Thank you to those here who exposed me to these fonts of wisdom.

Good luck to you all! The world needs your help, experiences and wisdom to improve. I hope at least that your suffering is short and that you don't allow it to consume you.

Also, a shout out to those women who betrayed me. Thank you! Without you breaking me down I might never have been able to build myself up better. I love you twisted bitches.

TL;DR I'm unsubscribing as this "hospital" has served its purpose. Thank you all and good luck. Don't let your hatred consume you, that's energy better spent on yourself. See you on the other side.
