Just received word that I finally got the promotion at work that I had been promised for nearly 18 months. They told me if I finished my degree and got a post-grad cert, I would get a title and pay bump. Had that all done in March '18, and they started the promotion in November last year.

They low balled me on the raise, so I turned around yesterday and showed similar positions in companies in the area offering 10 - 15K more than they were offering.

Came into work this morning. BOOM, new offer letter matching those positions.

Feels fucking good to be building my career and working on myself.

Working on paying down debt, and this will help ALOT!!!
