After finding myself single after the love of my life (oneitis) left me, I have adopted MGTOW. Even though she was the love of my life, I found myself having to give up more and more for her, and found myself being blamed for most of our problems. Since the end of that relationship, I became more attracted to MGTOW values - I enjoy doing my own thing, found hobbies and friends, restarted things I had to give up, and have actively avoided dating. That said, as I think to the future, I feel like I am rejecting the things most people find purpose in life in - a spouse and kids. I have, since adopting MGTOW, realized how unhealthy it is to derive my purpose in life from a spouse and kids. This realization has left what I feel is a void my mind, heart, and even spirit. For those who are older MGTOW (30+), how did you get over the biological and psychological pressure of having a spouse and kids? How and what did you find purpose?
