I see the same shit at the 9/11 memorial. Only I don’t have the balls to confront them. One time I was there putting flags on names and I saw girls taking selfies like this. A veteran went up to them and lectured them. They didn’t care. I feel ashamed for my own generation, they seem to not even know what happened at that site because they clearly don’t care

Every time I see shit like this I begin to realize that women are just mentally underdeveloped as if compared to men. If you do an image search of the place, large groups of people sit on these all the time. Should be expected as well, because it's a large public park in the middle of a highly populated area that's just full of concrete blocks. It is not a graveyard and the design is brutalist and it does not feel like a sacred place. The locals really do not give a shit. OP is probably a tourist.
