I'm 6'2" and think having a height requirement IS shallow.
On the other hand, cooking, cleaning and giving good head have practical benefits. It isn't shallow to seek practical benefits... women in general bring very little to the table.

I agree. I felt bad that my old father was so helpless after my mother had a heart attack (she survived). He had a stroke years before, but he had also never really learned how to cook for himself even before the stroke. When I had my own family, I was the cook in my family; not my ex.
On the other hand, I can see the advantage of using Ricardo's Comparative Advantage in economics and applying it to regular life. If you are good at computer programming and organizing things and good at cleaning and cooking, and the other person is just good at cleaning and cooking, the other person should do most of the cooking and cleaning.

In theory I don't care that women have height preferences, I just wish they wouldn't be so contemptuous and dismissive of male preferences.
That said, perhaps I'm biased, but I think that male preferences are pretty darn reasonable: Generally speaking we prefer a woman who appears to be healthy and fertile and that's pretty much it.
