So, I had to go to the mall to get some clothes for my dad who is declining and has alzheimers. Normally I'd never step foot in one of those places, and haven't since I was a teen, but they have his stuff and, well, I had to go there.

I remember going through this with girlfriends when I was a kid, when malls were actually a place to hang out. Walking around and waiting for my girlfriend to try shit on or convince me to buy silly shit. There isn't 1 single thing in a mall that can't be purchased online. There is nothing unique about chain stores or the garbage they markup. These days they feel more like retail graveyards.

Seeing all the pussy whipped, frumpy men, dragged by their spouses and girlfriends is depressing. Some of the conversations I overheard were equally laughable. One guy kept calling his wife, "dear." "What do you think of this color, dear?" She just shot him down over and over. Her behavior was that of a women who is dealing with a man who she knows has no options.

Can't say I understand it, as a man. As a kid I can see it. Going there to meet girls or something. I have to wonder if women even want to be with the type of men who would want to go to the mall with them. They've just settled with what they can pull.

I mean, who really want's to get their dick sucked anyway when you can walk around and smell Yankee Candles for four hours?
