Great decision. I had mine done about 6 years ago. I was jogging again in a week. You'll definitely want to wear a jock strap for a few weeks and keep ice packs on hand for the weekend. I had the scalpel procedure done and picked a Dr. who my family Dr. recommended, as he developed a technique where the tubes can't possible grow back together (I know a guy who had this happen).

It has been a great feeling knowing that I can't possibly knock up another twat.

Got mine done 19 years ago. No regrets. Dont forget that you are not "safe" until the doctor confirms you have cleared the pipes of any lurkers

Got mine 17 years ago. No complications from the procedure, sat on frozen peas for two days then went back to work. The only problem was I had to give a second post op "sample". The lab complained the first "sample" had too much saliva in it to test properly.

Congrats on a very wise decision. I did the scalpel version with zero chance of them reconnecting. No complications and no pain. As mentioned here - avoid physical activity for two weeks afterward, better safe than sorry. Also, you have to verify it worked with two separate tests but that's included in the procedure I guess.

Nice! Buy some ice packs, settle in to bingewatch some netflix. You should spend up to/around 3 days on your back.

It's not bad. Feels like...you got kicked in the nuts ten minutes ago, but it lasts for a day or three. It's not that bad, but even if it was, it'd still TOTALLY be worth it.

Very wise decision brother.

I got a vasectomy about 8 years ago. Very little tenderness or pain afterwards and I was back at work the following day. I forgot all about it and received a reminder when I dropped down from a stool I was standing on.

Overall, healing was complete in about two weeks. No long term pain or complications. It was the best decision I have ever made and would pay 10x for it looking back (cost me $400). I was in my prime days of pumping and dumping back then so I am sure it saved my wallet on several occasions.

I would recommend for every man to get a vasectomy in this current environment. If you are MGTOW but not in full monk mode it will save your sanity and wallet repeatedly. Have had several women (mostly fuck buddies/FWB) pull the "I'm pregnant" call on me since getting my vasectomy.

48 hours, keep the ice pack on it, don't walk too much.... then can ease back into things, it's really not bad at all. no sex for a month afterwards without a condom. Weirdest thing ever is to see semen and blood mixed together the first time you ejaculate after getting one. Any questions?
