Shit happens, life happens. I've taken classes with men well into their 40s with most students being aged 20 - 22, myself being in the latter at the time.

Who cares, it is expensive paper with a photocopied signature on it that is not an actual guarantee of qualification for employment. It only suggests that the people you mentioned are controlling authoritarians. Which likely means they are afraid of their own agency, and as such assign it to an external parental figure.

Personally I would distance myself from organized cults. Making up my own rules for mysticism and spirituality is more entertaining. If it is no more nominally worthwhile than any other all in one cult.

Honestly, I'd say skip college unless you're doing STEM which actually has some form of a barrier to entry, and even then, independent projects can still suffice sometimes if you've got talent. Colleges are still for-profit establishments and are largely just sucking students dry of their money for a piece of paper.

That said, you're an adult now, take control of your life and don't let your parents tell you how to live. Ask them for advice when you need to, but if you have a clear picture on what your next actions should be, then just stick it.

I'm not sure what your parents are arguing for. Are they mad that you'll need more tuition money to finish college? The reality is that tuition is your responsibility since you're the recipient of the "education", but if they're paying for it and are threatening to take it away, then it's time to make a decision between working or taking out a loan for the sake of your education.

It ultimately doesn't matter but you did waste a year - people at your age tend not to worry but a year opportunity cost is pretty significant...well it will be significant if you ever think upon it in the future "what if I had graduated a year earlier? would I be a year ahead of where I am now?"

If you don't think you'll worry, then that's the end of that.

Idk about from a MGTOW perspective, just dont be bothered by other peoples nattering. Also make sure you're more active about finding employment BEFORE you graduate. This passive shit ain't gonna take you where you want to go in life
