Its a path of least resistence thing, and somewhat like being a Partisan.

Its also in-herd camouflage.

But its not your end goal, its a means to mine the system for what you need to escape.

Its like WW2 POW's being good prisoners, except for stealing tools and cooking spoons to dig tunnels with.

And their altering uniforms To look like normal clothing and packing oats and raisins for their trek accros Europe thru fields and forests.

Its blending in to prevent problems, while you work on what you need to escape. To continue it indefinitely would be a form of arrested developement, instead of executing a planned permanent solution.

Dont tell co workers where you live or what you do. Tell them you like to go hiking alone or just spent the weekend reading/watching Netflix/gaming/errands
Dont have friends over. Jeep quiet at your house. Neighbours are nosy and watchful. Keep your distance from neighbours too.
Say hello and be courteous when people greet you. Keep convos short, you always have some work to be doing, somewhere you want to be, something you'd rather be doing then caught up in inane small talk with people that will try to manipulate you or force their opinions on you

I thought this term came from "Grey rock" as noted in dealing with Narcissists. An uninteresting grey rock. Can't play with it, has no value that you can see, uninteresting.

A way to avoid the narc, and it this case the narcs are entitled women.

I'm a lazy man-child for the most who knows me. Partially true, partially made up stuff, that's easily believable and doesn't require me to remember what I said to people.

For example I often saying I like repetitive and highly competitive games like lol or dota 2 [ I don't ] and trying to get into the pro scene with the boys. Oh boy you should see the girls' faces when they hear it or more like how they trying to conseal their real reaction.

I have a couple social media accounts, but mostly inactive on them. I thought it would better not to have any, but a 30 years old dude without any is more sus than a 30 years old dude with some, even if I log in maybe once a week.

I've also been "blessed" with the much younger look than I really am. I'm 30 but look like 20. Genetics, low stress, both, doesn't matter. I use the shit out of it to my advantage.

The only one part that really fucks me up is my height. I'm 6.5 [ 2 meters ] and this, as you might already guessed, draws unnecessary attention.
