Same I started getting violent anxiety attacks after spending my teens and early 20's smoking everyday. It's legal here now and the only time I do it it is if I'm already drunk I'll take small hit or two off my buddies vape pens.

Okay, anxiety attacks feel similar to a heart attack, minus the left arm and jaw pain. (admittedly no I haven't had a heart attack to compare this to but its what the doctor said and I have had anxiety attacks) Is that what you feel? Or are you misdiagnosing this?

I had an accelerated heart rate I was soaked in sweat and trembling. I went to the hospital the third time it happened it was really bad I thought I got posioned or smoke some bud laced with pcp. Doctor said it was an anxiety attack and to stop smoking weed.

Don't know if the dutch weed over here has gotten much stronger or I can't handle it anymore but it gives me serious anxiety now, so I quit.
Felt depressed for a couple of weeks but much better now. Just took some time for my brain to rebalance itself after relying on it for too long.

same thing happened to me, smoked from teens to 20's, then suddenly the pseudo-heart-attack, fast heart-rhythm, anxiety attacks happenend when i smoked. it's like my body told me "nah, you have been smoking too much". today i would like to do it a few times a year for inspiration and relaxation, but with illegality and no connections to people that sell i just dont.

Had the exact same experience and resulting thoughts myself. Smoking from early teens to late twenties. Drama free until I started smoking 10 times per day, everyday.
Body said nope and I experienced my first anxiety attack. Convinced I was dying, my heart rate was at a speed I didn't know was possible let alone survivable. Thought my heart was going to explode. Sat down completely still for 2hrs taking slow breaths, and the heart rate slowly came down to normal. Absolutely terrifying.
Since that night I haven't smoked for 3 years this summer. But I love the stuff and everything that goes with it, so hopefully in the future I can grow a small amount of a good strain for myself, and not be an idiot with it. That's the dream man.

It’s 100% the weed, months and months of trying every type of terpene, brand, strain, THC level, CBD level and micro dosing has concluded it’s definitely the weed.
Doctors told me this happens sometimes when you get older.

Same here I stopped smoking after smoking for 3 years daily. About a month in. Took a week for the dreams to kick in and man, the last 3 weeks have been crazy. I never used to remember my dreams but now I remember them fully. It’s like weening off the drug gave me a new natural drug, my dreams, that for some reason I never fully experienced til now. Shits crazy. No nightmares tho yet knock on wood

Consider switching to a vaporizer for home use. Arizer makes a good volcano-style vape for about $140. Better for your lungs and more efficient use of herb. A good ol' J is great for portability though.

Opposite for me. I mostly taste the plastic hose and it’s missing that charred flavour that only combustion brings.

Gotta disagree here. I read all my books on my Nook now, it's just way more convenient to carry 100 books on a tiny tablet.
Regarding vape vs smoke, vape does give flavor, but it's mostly in the first few hits since the volatile oils responsible for flavor vape at a low temperature. So not 100% disagree, but I prefer convenience and economy over a specific experience. I don't toke for the flavor.
