I don't think the Jeff Bezos analogy is the best one as his wife did help him set up Amazon and he cheated on her (yes she was it the right place at the right time and could probably not have done it without him).

It is hypocrisy that people only care when it's the woman that gets screwed over but we need more of these so the laws might get changed in the end.

What women never understand about equality is equal benefits = equal risks. Now wombs are nearly as cheap as dicks. Why, because even in 3rd world countries women do NOT die in childbirth in the same numbers they did prior to doctors simply washing their hands. Many women have not caught up, the tradcon women are ahead of the curve here.

Patriarchy was invented to reduce battle field risk to women and compensate men for taking that risk. A patriarchy is not necessary in modern society where women are nearly guaranteed to survive child birth. Except for special operations, infantry in particular light infantry, and maybe artillery women can do most jobs in the military if they are held to the same physical and discipline standards as the men. Equality is earned by going I state your name.... for your god and country.

The problem women are very often not held to the same standards as the men. The problem is what most women want is the benefits of equality with the protections of what noble women received under the old patriarchal system. A matriarchy in effect. Matriarchies are not worth defending and taking risks for. The men will revolt and said matriarchy will get conquered by an outside power exploiting that revolt.

The current system is under stress and will re-balance itself.
