Honestly, just factoring living assistance and the real cost of having general daily (12+ hours) of health care in my 80 to 90s is the goal.

Net Worth is a great goal to have, but I would much rather have the financial mindset to know that I'm securing a way to age out life in a personal residence.

Have been spending time with much older individuals (70+) and so many just don't have the means to handle basic things after minor injuries. As we all know, marriage and children do not guarantee assistance in older age.

I want enough that I can live comfortably in my older age . As long as I can build up enough to make sure my most necessary bills are paid and I can feed and clothe myself I'll be happy.

With all that said I'd love to be a millionaire at the very least by the time I retire and live a modest life where I can enjoy 50's and beyond in solitude. chilling on the beach and enjoying the breeze as much as I can .

Yes, but I do it in a different way. Instead of a net worth goal, I have a annual net income goal plan for the next 3-7 years with the knowledge of another 3-7 year period after that for the next 10x milestone. Its the best way to plan a financial future and actually achieve it especially if you're an ambitious entrepreneur like myself.

I first achieved 6-figure annual income at the age of 25 and that business lasted 3 years.

Despite vast setbacks from when endeavors don't work out (ask ANY successful entrepreneur, they'll confirm the success/fail cycle I'm referring to), I'm confident I can dig myself out of the debt I was left with and be back at 6-figure level income for the year of 2019.

I have every step laid out for the next 3-7 years which will push me to 7 figure annual earning level and I have an excellent mentor who already is at the 8 figure level himself. It will be another 3-7 years after that to attain the 8 figure earning level which will be right around when I'm hitting 40-45 and I felt that was a good level to hit by that point if I'm aiming to be one of those top billionaires by 60+. I will either become a Richard-Branson level entrepreneur or die trying.

I think its good to ambitiously move up the business world especially if your desire is to help people transform into exactly what they've always wanted to be. All you need is a high income skill (something that earns minimum $10k/month) and to continually develop it alongside your business as an owner to really shoot up the ladder quickly.

Don't underestimate a determined man's potential when he has no weights tying him down.

Awesome book to manage a mindset about that: F. U. Money, by Dan Lok.

It talks about Daily Income Goal ect. Seems interesting, and the concepts can be applied on anything, including money and net worth goal.

E.g.

Theoritically speaking;

Net worth goal: $5 million. Deadline: To achieve 10 years.

This is: $500k yearly. $50k monthly. $1,666 daily.

Suppose work hour put daily is 12 hours.

Hourly: $138/hour.

Theoritically: The goal can be achieved by a $138/hour, 12 hours work a day for 7/7 days in 10 years. It can be fun if we like our job. $138//hour can be a practice work, such as employment. Or selling 3 products that generates +$46 benefit per product. Or selling 1 product that generates +$138 benefit per product. Or 14 of +$10 per product. For 12 hours, each hour a day.

I'm fairly certain I'll be a bachelor the rest of my life. If I marry, it will only be into money.

That's not a bad idea.

My lifetime net worth goal is $5 million. It's a goal, challenging but doable.

Assuming that you're probably in your 20's . . 5 Mil by the time you want to "retire" won't be that much. How about a different set of goals:

develop a career that you love and enjoy, where you have more and more opportunities as you age, and where you make more and more money as you age (TL;DR: become an expert/guru)
live comfortably with low overhead, and invest wisely the rest
pursue your interests and try to also make money from at least 1 or 2 of those, which can become/converge with your career.

If you can do that.. you'll be worth a lot more than $5M.

A net worth goal is fairly meaningless imo.

Live healthy, live long, don't overdo it with work (I know it's hard these days) and retire somewhere decent. An apartment in NYC for example means being surrounded by feminists and hostile housing project parasites that can turn on you any second.

Aiming for a nice place somewhere safe and quiet and enough for all expenses of living a couple decades down the road is all I need really and that's easily attained.
