I can tell you. I was married for 15 years.

I have a bachelor, and two postgrad degrees in the STEM field - in my opinion, in the best of all STEMs. So, I am not a millionaire, but I can tell you that I make some good money per year.

Here is the cold fact: while married, I never had any money left in my bank account. No savings. Zero, null. I only had some used up clothes, and even had several front teeth issues that were never fixed - my smile was not the best what so ever. Note: while married, my then so wife convinced me to pay for the whole teeth implant on her beloved brother - as her gift; as a good blue bill back then, I did pay her gift to her brother, while my smile was in shambles.

Then I decided to get divorced after I finally wake up in a sexless marriage, my wife traveling to Miami and tropical overseas, while I was working the whole week my ass off during wintertime in north mountains of US, to pay all the credit card debts that she was accumulating, as she always did for all our years of marriage.

Btw. My ex-wife had severe drinking problems that she only started showing after we got married. At least twice a month, she got herself completely drunk. Trust me, and there is nothing more annoying than you having to live with an addicted drunker. Note: only after I got divorced, her family admitted that they always knew about my ex drinking problems.

So, after I got divorced: in the first year, I fixed my teeth. I started using some cute and stylish clothes. Moreover, since then, I can go on international vacations every year, paying upfront and getting discounts. Also, yet, I always finish every fiscal year with huge savings. Today, I could allow myself to buy a Lamborghini if I wanted. The thing is I don't like sports cars, since the first time I got a test drive in a Porsche, I found sports cars too low to drive, just not my thing. Yes, they are cool to look outside, but not really to drive in my opinion - I instead prefer 4x4 pickups and drive seeing things from above.

Plus, I can choose which hot girl, in her 20's and even 18's, would I like to date.

So... No Wife. Amazing Life!
