Well, just the way the actor looks like he is getting crazier for real as the scenes go by gave me chills. I really loved his performance in just those 2 minutes. From the way he looks, the expressions he makes, the way he walks, run, laugh. I loved everything they showed us about this new joker per se. Obviously they might still ruin it with a bad script, but I feel this actor is gonna do an AMAZING job regardless.
But that is my opinion.

As much as I do appreciate Joaquin’s talent, and previous work, and I still think this movie will be good, but idk why I can’t see Joaquin morphing into the Joker but more so Joaquin himself going crazy and losing it. Less about the Joker and more about Joaquin and his performance.
Hope the movie still delivers either way and hope it absorbs and immerses me. I could be wrong and it ends up truly looking like Jokers beginning. Also hope I don’t distract you guys or infect you with my critique, it should still be enjoyable!

obviously? not sure you can choose. all 3 are perfection. i like to think of Heath as the younger Joker was he just became a criminal, full of energy and gusto, still an existential killer, but just starting. Jack is his old man phase. he's a calmer joker yet captures the same spontaneous insanity. Hamill had the most material and probably the best writing as well. so it's easy to feel very close to his rendition.
