They rationalise it with emotions rather than logic. There's no logical excuse that stands up to scrutiny, but "feelings" excuses are beyond scrutiny.

OP, the problem is you're assigning Male logic and thinking to what is happening. Women don't think like men, and certainly don't have male attributes such as loyalty and honesty.

This is covered in the books "The Manipulated Man" and "The Rational Male" but I'll summarize it for you. For hundreds of thousands of years, women were property - prized property - because they could reproduce. When tribes of men went to war, women were taken as a prize and used by the victors. Women that couldn't handle this, committed suicide, but the ones that adapted to this reality, reproduced.

In time, the War Brides concept was ingrained in female psychology. Women can sleep with anyone because it's in their nature. They change from victor to victor easily (and it actually arouses them when a more powerful male "takes" them from another male).

So to answer your question, yes, cheating is okay for her.
