You're not falling behind in life. Not getting married is staying ahead of the curve. Chances are that if you get married, you will get divorced. And lose most of what you have.

The cons outweigh the pros. Why would you want to have to deal with all drama that women drag around with them? Why would you want to put up with the nagging? Why would you want to spend all your hard earned money on someone who will dump and divorce you as soon as you stop, and then likely take your house, your car, your kids, your retirement, and then have to pay alimony until you die?

Absolutely. I would love nothing more than to find a nice lady and spend the rest of my life with her building a family and tackling challenges together.

However... Its hard to ignore risk.

To see reality just look ahead at people who have been married for 2, 5, 10 years

It's your biological programming at work. The lizard's brain. It will force you to find a mate, make children, waste your life supporting them and then die.

I see too many married men around me slowly wither away without ever achieving their dreams. It scares me because I think such fate is worse than death.

Marriage is a cope for most men who choose to get married. They feel the marriage and children will solve their problems and give their life meaning, however that tends to not be the case. Most men are miserable workhouses just so they aren’t lonely for rest of their lives, but in their hearts they are alone.

For men, our fulfilment comes from our achievement and work in life. Marriage and kids won’t achieve that.
