Usually they receive an automated PM notifying them of the ban after having never posted there to begin with. Many of the SJWs subs have bots that crawl "undesirable" subreddits like /r/MGTOW and automatically ban any users found posting there.

Sometimes they ban us having never posted or visited, that was at least what used to be somewhat of a badge around here.

You can get banned from a subreddit without even posting there. If you post often enough to the "problem" subreddits like MGTOW, Red Pill, etc, you'll get a message informing you of your ban from the flowery, diverse and tolerant side of Reddit.
