Used to scare the crap out of me with statments like this:

GF: "Don't be mad at me, I have something bad to tell you."

ME: (holy shit what the fuck is she breaking up?!) "Uh..what?"

GF: "I ate all the ice cream".

I now calm down when she 'gets serious'. When shit is really serious she just wont even talk.

Im older and you MUST treat them as you would a child or relationships will NOT work.

I had a girlfriend like that. She'd cry for nothing, nothing that was important. I remember being with her, I always thought (when she was crying and I embracing her): "Shit, I'd better alone, I'm losing my patience". It was like being a father. It's interesting also how a woman can look indestructible from outside (when you see her walking for example) but once you get to know her you see how weak and fragile they are. Somehow they manage to hind this from most people, except their boyfriends or husbands, that have to carry this burden of taking care after working for 12 hours. (Sorry for my English).
