Testosterone drops in adults by about 0.5-2%% a year. About 25% of men over 30 are low, and way more once we're talking 50+ years. Two main notes:

  1. You can get this tested yourself pretty easily, without any insurance or doctors involved
  2. If low, a doc can prescribe testosterone, the liquid injectable can be as low as $40/month

So you can order the test to see your levels here https://www.discountedlabs.com/testosterone-replacement for $30.45. (I'm not affiliated, it's just what I used.) There are a variety of other similar companies like https://www.privatemdlabs.com/ , again, I have no affiliation. Once you order the test, in your account there's a PDF "order" to download from within your account. You take that to any LabCorp in your area. So this is an interesting division of labor: labcorp are tiny little offices spread out all over the US, basically your interaction with them is walk in, no appointment needed, hand them your printed order, they take your blood, you walk out. From walk in to walk out took 28 minutes for me... better than the DMV. You don't pay any money to LabCorp, I assume there's some other kickback from the place you ordered the test. Dunno, don't care.

About 4-7 days later, you get an email, and then can download the results sheet from inside your account. Boom, you now know if you are low.

If it's low, a doctor will need to prescribe testosterone for you. You can google "TRT" (Testosterone Replacement Therapy).

"But isn't testosterone illegal? Isn't that a steroid?" Yeah, and yeah, but also no and no. Like many controlled drugs, it's legal if prescribed. And doctors prescribe other steroids all the time. And mostly when we hear about testosterone/steroids, it's in the context of boosting it in a sports-related context. And yes, bodybuilders absolutely do take massive dosses that far exceed a human's natural range and that can fuck you up. That's not what we're talking about here though, we're talking about millions of adult males who's levels are well below what's considered minimum for normal functioning, and supplementing only in an amount that gets you back into the normal ranges.

What might improve for you? Energy, sleep, body fat levels, depression. Possibly unfortunately for MGTOW, sexual interest may increase. But remember, we're talking about getting back to NORMAL amounts of this.

So that's my contribution to MGTOW for this week guys, some usable practical info to keep yourself healthy.

ps: Yep, I tested low. I'm nearing 50, so it's no surprise. Haven't gotten to part two yet.
