Step 1: Find a friend you trust.
Step 2: Sell him everything you own for a dollar
Step 3: Tell your boss you are going to quit, but that you will be back, you're doing it just so you don't get robbed. If he says no, quit anyways.
Step 4: Become legally homeless, but you're squatting in your friend's new home and wearing his new clothes, because he's a good friend who lends you shit.
Step 5: Tell the judge she can have half of nothing, and half your unemployment checks
Step 6: Buy everything back from your friend for a dollar. Give him a beer.
Step 7: Get hired again. If you get a paycut, you're still making more money than back when you were married.
Step 8: Congrats, you're free.

I'm 99% sure here you'd get in serious trouble for that. Income right off the bat you'd have it imputed for sure. Nice thought though :)

I don't think the selling part works that easily, it is essentially gifting. If the intent is proven I guess even the court will cause issues.

Cool, replace friend with a brand new financial start up offshore company based in the Seychelles that you have absolutely no connection to "wink wink nudge nudge" that is owned by some bank but you are the sole member on the board of directors of this new company.

One trick, go lose (not really) everything in a casino. Try to go to your local support groups because your addict to gamble, film yourself in a Casino playing blackjack and put some nice pictures in your social media to show that you like to gamble. Sell everything buy gold or crypto and tell the judge that you are addicted to gamble and lost everything.
[–]Cowgineer-1 points0 points1 point 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Not Crypto. That shit has no intrinsic value and loves crashing. Better off literally burying your money in a jar somewhere.

Step 1: create a trust in South Dakota and deposit all your money over time where wives and courts can’t touch it. Step 2: profit
[–]Cavannah4 points5 points6 points 6 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Why South Dakota?
[–]HonestGamingTroll4 points5 points6 points 6 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
South Dakota’s possesses iron-clad secrecy and protections of trust assets from creditors and ex-wives, with features emulating those available in Bermuda. South Dakota also allows wealthy families’ full control over investment decisions and their ability to set up their own trust companies rather than rely on a bank trustee.

That's very useful, I'll look into it. Thank you!

If you tried to sell a property or a car just for a dollar, then the government would suspect that you were trying to commit some kind of scam right away and would start investigating you.

That would work where I live if you were a woman, but for the man, they look at your "income potential" as determining support payments. So, if you are unemployed, they look at your qualifications, experience, etc. and determine "You can earn $40,000 minim, thus you own X#of$ per month, you'd better find a job fast.

Dude if your wife is divorcing you I would just go hard. Fuck anything you have the ability too and spend lavishly. Go out with a bang. In my eyes if I was dumb enough to get married then to me its til DEATH do us part. Not saying anyone should do anything crazy or violent... but I know exactly what I would do.

California's a shithole
[–]HonestGamingTroll2 points3 points4 points 6 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
It's not the only state with no fault divorce laws.
[–]oozzoonnee3 points4 points5 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Yeah but it's still a shithole

Cheating doesn’t affect the amount of child support she gets.
But killing her reduces the amount of child support she collects to zero. She can’t collect from you if she’s dead.

That's why you don't get married or have kids! You will get bent over backwards by the courts and live a few miserable years doing unnecessary struggles.
You could be living the fre single bachelor life and fucking a lot of nice slut as you travel the world and work on your business

Biblically, Jesus says that adultery is basically the only real reason for a divorce and everything else could be worked through. I mean, violence is obviously a no-no, but in the context of marriage and the bullshit reasons like neglect or falling out of love - that can be worked on as it is likely a question of focus. However, Jesus is pretty clear on the adultery argument: if you even look at someone with lust in your heart you've committed adultery. In other words, if you cast your eyes on someone and think, "mmm, I'd like some of that!" Boom, adultery. Why? Lust is a deadly sin, that shit keeps repeating and the harmless glance becomes a comment, becomes a flirt, becomes a date, becomes a fuck.
Imagine trying to establish a relationship with a woman today with that as your understanding. "Honey, I can't say I'll never look at another woman, however, I can say that I'm serious about spending eternity together and will therefore say a little prayer of penance if I do check out another girl's ass and come home to fuck you good. Can you do the same?"
Now, this is an important detail: let's say she lies and says yes, she'll do that too. There is an old saying, "it doesn't matter where you get your appetite, as long as you eat dinner at home." Jesus' teaching about adultery exists as a counterpoint to sayings like this. Because that's what everyone does and it eventually breaks down. If she's not capable of saying a little prayer of penance to herself if she catches herself getting ideas from checking out Chad at the gym, then she's not capable of demonstrating accountability at the most basic levels and isn't going to be a fit long term partner or mother. Oh sure, she can giggle at such a suggestion of complete commitment and if such things are trivial to her now, then you can quickly understand that the concept of marriage till death do you both part is the real joke in her eyes.
When you read my explanation regarding Jesus' teaching and it's relation to the deadly sin, it just made some kind of logical sense that's undeniable, yeah? Hits you at a core that you're forced to agree with. Doesn't matter what religion you are or aren't. Women have that same code built in and if she rejects the truth, it's because she's got a foundation of lies that her personality and character resides on.

when you research the law firms and legal think tanks who were funded to fight to pass these laws, you'll see a real cohencidence amongst their names.

Just when I thought california had reached peak insanity.
[–]sake234561 point2 points3 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Because the corrupt government doesn't care they just Don't wanna pay for the lesser earning spouse who is the wife usually and also the cheating spouse in this period.
[–]Mr_FreeSpeech1 point2 points3 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I mean, what can't you expect from California at this point? It's literaly the worst run state in America
[–]CertainCrow10 points1 point2 points 6 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link
I actually agree with this one. Shouldn't always assume the one cheated on is innocent in the whole marriage. I could never bring myself to it but damned if I wasnt tempted at times when I felt at my lowest, when I was treated like a dog to be kicked, and an attractive coworker treated with me with such respect and admiration. She was constantly threatening to leave, I didn't really believe in divorce and had a kid... yeah sometimes it feels like having someone around that makes you feel special helps you cope but then usually you wise up after a bit. I'm sure emotionally had let msyekf get a bit too attached before creating space. Definitely pretty vulnerable and who knows if she came on stronger.
