Don’t fear being judged for not being a sheep, as long as you do, the agents of average will always seek to bring you back to the plantation.

I actually read something (maybe here) about a theory that those who are innately more intelligent and in tune with the world around them are far more likely to be depressed and or want to be alone. Whereas the people who are somehow always happy on the other side of spectrum are not in tune with the world around then at all

The term you speak of is called "depressive realism"

I feel it. No amount of exercise or "positive thought" can pull me out of the reality that we're sliding into shit creek as a civilization.

Thats how I was as a kid. I had no idea what was going on and was happy. Now i know too much or think too much. I don’t feel smart for being this way. I don’t feel good about it either because i create my own problems apparently, hows that intelligent? :/

Ignorance is bliss. The truth is a heavy burden to carry but it's better than the alternative. Accept it and focus on what you want out of life.

I'll just leave this here. Search youtube for a video explanation https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Allegory_of_the_Cave

Allegory of the Cave
The Allegory of the Cave, or Plato's Cave, was presented by the Greek philosopher Plato in his work Republic (514a–520a) to compare "the effect of education (παιδεία) and the lack of it on our nature". It is written as a dialogue between Plato's brother Glaucon and his mentor Socrates, narrated by the latter. The allegory is presented after the analogy of the sun (508b–509c) and the analogy of the divided line (509d–511e). All three are characterized in relation to dialectic at the end of Books VII and VIII (531d–534e).

People tend to underestimate the simplistic genius of the expression "ignorance is bliss" not being aware of all the negative and amoral things taking place around you makes it alot easier to be 'blissfully happy'

You are a playing character in an NPCs world.

The NPC meme is a little too NPC for me:
NPC 1: liberal talking points
NPC 2: call NPC 1 an NPC
It’s just the feedback loop in the programming, but it’s still the programming.

we all have some sort of program running. we're not different, at best we are aware of the faults of our own and the others programming. the left programming doesn't detect errors. I think that here lies a problem.

Right, everyone is a hypocrite from time to time. The problem is, when I catch myself I feel shitty and when the regressive left has cognitive dissonance they just rage. There is a serious disconnect.

A time is coming when men will go mad, and they see someone who is not mad, they will attack him, saying, 'You are mad; you are not like us'.

I find it funny (sad really), how everytime I have denied a woman attention or wanted to go further with her to avoid drama. The first go to response is always "Are you gay?/Don't you like women?" Trying to shame me for not wanting to be with her.
What's more pathetic is white-knights and people around shaming you for staying out of drama and problems while they themselves have miserable lives. I've never been happier. All I do is sit back and pity them. :)
